Past Land Clearing Project

3-Acre Land Clearing

The owners wanted space for an additional barn on their lightly wooded 3-acre property. We removed smaller oaks and underbrush, ground the stumps and hauled away the debris, opening the area for the next stage of preparation.

Our Land Clearing Process and Equipment

Our process starts by marking the clearing area and trees you want to keep. We use tracked excavators with buckets and hydraulic thumbs to handle trunks, specified stumps and loading. We separate debris with root-rake or loader work, then complete the hauling and ground finish included in your quote.

Trees and Brush on Atlanta Properties

Atlanta-area sites can contain white oak, hickory, loblolly pine and sweetgum. Mark the canopy trees to retain before clearing the approved footprint. Larger trunks, root balls and debris need a defined removal and disposal plan.

Land Clearing Questions,
Clear Answers.

What is the difference between bush hogging, mulching and clearing?

Bush hogging cuts grass, weeds and light stems up to about 1 inch. Mulching processes suitable brush and saplings into on-site mulch. Clearing can include larger approved trees, roots and hauling. Actual equipment, terrain and your planned finish decide the method.

Is debris removal included?

Forestry mulch normally remains on the ground. For tree removal and land clearing, define whether material will be hauled away, processed on-site or left in agreed locations. Stump grinding and root extraction should also be listed separately.

How long will my project take?

Light field cutting may take hours; clearing with stump work and hauling may take several days. Acreage, density, slopes, wet ground, access and approvals affect the schedule. Individual project durations are not guaranteed completion times.
